It includes access to live sessions (and recordings of them if you can't make it), warmup questions, and pre-recorded content review videos that align with the live sessions. There may also be additional features at the discretion of the directors, such as office hours and full-length review, based on demand.
How long do the sessions last?
Approximately 1 hour, depending on the quantity and complexity of the questions. Expect to stay in the meeting for about 15-20 minutes extra. If you cannot stay for the entire session or if you cannot make the live session, you can access the recordings on our website.
Where will the sessions be held? Where will be the resources be?
Everything can be found on a Google Classroom page, whose invite link will be emailed to you at least a few days prior to the prep course. No. Our course is led by volunteers and our goal is provide a community and additional support to help you succeed on the MCAT. We highly recommend that you have your own study plan and resources prepared and only utilize our prep course as a supplement. Because we are volunteers, we do not guarantee a score increase.
Do I have to do the readings before every session?
In short, no. We provide these readings to guide you through our prep course. During the session, we will review the passages and the main takeaways. Instead, we highly recommend that you complete watching the associated pre-recorded content review videos to understand what is being talked about in class and prepare any questions.
Is participation mandatory?
Participation is not mandatory, but we would love it if you volunteered to ask questions! We would love to make the sessions as engaging as possible, but please feel free to sit back and listen in if you prefer. We want to create a judgement-free zone where everyone can make mistakes and learn from them.
Where can I find the homework and schedule?
